My favorite toddler goodies! (and another giveaway!!)

Last month I did a post on my very favorite baby goodies and it was such a HUGE success with over FOUR THOUSAND entries, and one very excited winner! Congratulations again, Erin!

This month I thought I would do a post on some of my favorite toddler goodies!! This post is not quite as big, but I guess you really just don’t need as much stuff when your baby gets bigger. I SO enjoyed being able to leave the diaper bag, stroller, change of clothes, extra formula, diapers…and everything else at home when my son got bigger! (although now, we have lots of stuff in tow again with our new addition 😉 ).
So anyway, here are some of my very favorite things that I love using with my little guy! 🙂

The Sili Squeeze – Okay people, this thing solved a MAJOR problem for me! You know those amazing little disposable squeeze veggie, fruit & grain packets that you spend over a dollar each on? Well they are pretty awesome since its the only way I could get my little dude to eat anything heathy for quite some time. But the fact that they get so expensive , and are not quite big enough (when my son would ask for 2 or 3 of them in a row), and I could not control how much of each thing was in them, was not so fun. Then I discovered the Sili Squeeze and knew that I NEEDED to get this for my son!!! This reusable silicone food pouch/squeeze is intended for baby food (great for babies, too!), smoothies, and snacks like yogurt, apple sauce and any super heathy mixture you can think of (think quinoa, yogurt , spinach, and berries!). And lets be honest, my kid will suck anything out of a packet! Its just more fun! 🙂 The original is a spill-proof spout design (unlike the disposable one from the store), and the new “Sili Squeeze with Eeeze” has an open spout for the bigger kids! (Tip: you can buy one squeeze and both types of spouts if you have a baby and toddler, like I do….but lets be honest, you will probably want a couple of these awesome things!). other awesome facts about this amazing item, it saves our landfills, its dishwasher safe, its made of food  and medical grade safe materials. AND this company gives back to special needs individuals with eating challenges, and they donate a portion of they proceeds to families and organizations in need. So you can feel great about your purchase too! 🙂

Boba Baby carrier – I absolutely love my Boba 3G baby carrier! Its great for babies/children from 7-45lbs (so we can use this with our 4 month old AND 3 year old!). And its packed full of tons of fantastic features! (and lemmie tell ya, I love some good features!). Some of my favorites: ALL of the straps are adjustable to make a perfect fit for momma and baby, and those straps have a great elastic strap to hold them in place. It comes with an adjustable hood for sleeping babys (that tucks away when its not in use, and can be removed altogether). It comes with removable foot straps for the bigger kids. It has a few zipper pockets for a cell phone, a diaper, etc. And one of my very favorite features is that it has a handy strap on the shoulder to hold your purse in place (instead of sliding off all the time, like some other carriers), love it!
Another really cool part about it is that even though I am super short (4’11”) and my husband is super tall (6’3″) , we are both able to comfortably wear it! It also comes in a lot of really fantastic colors and patterns, so the guys can feel comfortable in it too! 🙂

Lollacup – About a year and a half ago, our little dude Jordan was making the transition to a “big boy cup” and could only really drink from straw cups at the time. The straw cups were totally fine with us, but it was a bit of a problem because he would try to lift the cup up to drink and the straw would not be able to get the water for him when tilted. One evening my husband and I were watching Shark Tank on TV (a show where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to investors), when this sweet couple came on talking about the Lollacup, and Sean and I could not stop talking about how BRILLIANT of an idea it was and that we NEEDED one!!! This adorable little cup (seriously, its SO cute!), has a weighted straw, so when your kiddo tilts that cup back, the straw comes down so that kids can still sip their drinks, pretty darn cool, hu?! Its also really easy to clean, and does not have many parts – MAJOR wins in my book!

Dinosaur Hoodie – Elle Dee Designs does it again with this super adorable dino hoodie! I am all about unique kids clothes and this is a pretty rad hoodie that your kid will LOVE wearing! The hoodie comes in the size of your choice , AND you get to choose up to 3 fun colors for the spikes on the hood and back. So much fun!

I don’t have a toddler yet (our baby boy is 4 months old) but I think the baby carrier would be my favorite since he loves to be held and check out the world at the same time.

My favorite toddler item is M’s SkipHop doggie lunch bag. We use it almost daily and it’s so cute. Adjustable handle/strap that can be attached to other things. M can hold it easily and we get so many compliments too!
