Hi friends! So I still can’t really believe I am saying this, but our sweet, sassy, funny, happy, feisty, chubby, cuddly, little girl is a whole year old! (okay, so this post is a tad late and she’s more like 14 months now, but who’s counting?!) And this is just way to hard for this overly sentimental, emotional momma. I’m preettttyyy sure I just gave birth to this beautiful girl, but apparently it really has been a whole year. And boy, has it been a beautiful year! 🙂 There are really no words to explain how thankful I am for all that God has blessed my husband and I with. Our son, Jordan, and our little Cambria, (not to mention my wonderful husband!) are just about as perfect as it gets, and I find it a little hard to come to terms with how much I have been blessed with.
I love both of my kids just the same. They are both EVERYTHING to me. But I had been dreaming of our little lady since I was a little girl. When other girls dreamed of their weddings, I dreamed of being a mom (and of course, to a baby girl….which has always led me to believe I would end up with a house full of boys lol). And my husband and I decided on her name when we were 15 years old, and my dream baby girl was “Cambria” ever since. And let me tell you folks, our Cambria has been everything I could have possibly dreamed, and so much more. Every moment with her is a bright shiny gift from God, with a big giant pink sparkly bow on it. Really. Shes just everything to me. 🙂 (I mentioned that I flippin’ adore my son, too…right!? 😉 ). We were blessed before, truly blessed…but now, I really could not ask for more 🙂 .
So, here are a few of my favorite pictures from my little “one year” session I did while hanging out and following our sweet little lady around with my camera, and of course, a giant balloon! 🙂
My amazingly talented friend, Kelley, from A Flower Chick, made this stunning floral headpiece for this little portrait session. But ya know, I have a very spirited one year old that had other plans :/ . But I could not post these pictures with out sharing this gorgeous work of art! 🙂 I HIGHLY suggest A Flower Chick for any and all of your floral needs (especially weddings!).
