(we were even all roommates together, years ago! :) ).

Not too long ago Jon and Allison got married, and then started their little family when sweet little Connor was born, and I was really excited to have the opportunity to photograph our friend’s new family! :)

I was so excited to photograph some promo photos for their web site/social media, etc. And whats even more fun was to have my sweet little boy, Jordan, as the model! :)
These nifty patent pending ties have a little fabric tab with a button hole stiched in it, so you just use your little dapper dudes top button to easily attach it to their shirt! No tight strap around their neck, or clip to irritate them, just a super cute little bow tie to wear! I can’t wait for him to be able to wear his cute ties to church, birthday parties, or just around town (after taking these pictures, he refused to take off his “bow”…I think it may just be a new staple for him!) :)

I photographed Lauren and Kevin’s engagement and perfect wedding. Then they booked my Baby Plan when they were expecting Eli, so now I have been lucky enough to photograph Eli when he was just a couple weeks old , and now as a family, at 6 months old!! I honestly can’t believe this little dude is already 6 months old! But it was SO much fun hanging out with them, and cuddling sweet Eli. Seriously, how adorable is this little dapper dude with his amazing red hair, smiles for days, to-die-for blue eyes, and that bow tie!? I just love him!! :)

Lauren and Kevin, I hope you enjoy your blog preview and I can’t wait to photograph you guys again when Eli turns 1! :)

Today has been a busy Wednesday…well really I think its just a taste of whats to come with my SUPER busy May. But instead of just pushing through my to-do list like usual, I decided to take a quick break and actually take some pictures of my sweet little lady (that was just looking so cute laying on her blanket, chatting away in her sweet baby talk!) :) . Can you belive this sweet girl is already 3 1/3 months old!? Can time just slow down a tiny bit!? Ah, maybe not…but I am taking advantage of all the cuddles and coos I can get and have been living in the moment and loving my babies like crazy! :)

Her super cute bow is from Bugs and Honey, and the onesie from Target :)

So excited to share that about a month ago on January 18th at 8:38am, our sweet little girl , Cambria Mae was born! And it has been so easy for my little boy , husband and I to fall head over heals IN LOVE with her!

Our son Jordan has been stuck like glue to his little sister, and loves to help with anything he can. It has been such a amazing blessing to see that he adores her as much as my husband and I do, too :) .  Our little girl makes our crazy little family feel so perfectly complete!  I swear I could sit and cuddle her ALL day long! :)

I have to admit that I have been so bad at getting my camera out to take pictures of her (what can I say? Life has been a tad crazy with a toddler and newborn! ;) ), but I wanted to be sure to share a few with ya’ll from our last month :)

I just love that boy!!! Katie and I got together with our kiddos for a play date recently, and I snapped a few pictures to remember how sweet Jack is at one year old, and I’m so glad we did!! :)

I don’t know about you, but I am always pretty darn excited about the holidays. We do them small and simple and focus on what’s most important around here, and thats how I like to keep my holiday portraits too! ;)

We all know that those mall photos can be stressful, and leave you with photos of your children that just don’t seem like them! (so posed and stuffy!). So why not brake that cycle and book one of our holiday mini-sessions!? A few maternity sessions, a couple newborns, and a birth shoot! All of them have been a huge blessing to be a part of (seriously, I am SO thankful to everyone who choose me to capture these precious moments in their lives!!)…. and it seems that I may have been “drinking the water” too! ;)

We are so excited to announce that we are expecting a second, amazing baby into our little family! Expected to arrive late January 2013!! :)

 

Jordan can’t wait to be a big brother!!! (okay, so he might not really understand it just yet, but we think he will be an amazing big brother!!!) :)
